About Me
A Few Words
About Me
I am a retired social worker and Gestalt psychotherapist.
For over 40 years, I worked alongside magistrates in juvenile and family courts in the Lisbon region. My role was to provide psychological and social support to families in vulnerable situations, always with compassion and discretion.
Today, I continue this mission through Helping Hand – a personal service offering assistance, companionship and emotional support to those who may need a little help in their daily lives.
I believe that the full development of a human being – emotionally, mentally, socially and even physically happens – through care, presence and meaningful interaction.

Why I Do This Work
My experience has shown me how important it is to be present to show up when someone needs help, whether emotionally, practically or socially.
Helping Hand is not an agency. It’s personal. I am the one who visits, listens, helps and supports. That’s what makes this work so rewarding the real, human connection.
From helping with shopping or organizing a home, to offering companionship during difficult times, I’m here for those who need a helping hand.
